Congratulations Mr. Roe!
Your boat restoration on the Penn Yan won the award for the best boat in the category "Best Preserved Outboard Boat and Motor" at the Skaneatles Antique and Classic Boat Show held in Skaneatles New York from July 25th to July 27th. Everyone was very impressed with the quality of your work and the obvious skills in restoration of this classic Finger Lakes Boat. I could not be happier.
Wow, can't believe she is the same boat. Thank you for everything you have done. I know my father and grandfather would be pleased with how she turned out.
It will be interesting to take her out and not have to worry about sinking halfway through the trip.
Many thanks,
Yes, that green stuff in between the mud is grass. The ice should leave us tomorrow. You should see all the huge logs out on the ice...no boating until that clears up, that's for sure. Thanks for checking us out, stay tuned for more fun stuff.
